Postgraduate Research Opportunities

Comparative anatomy and evolution of vertebrates, particularly mammals.

Research Area

I am interested in several questions concerning evolutionary biology. These include the origins and evolution of crown vertebrate groups, the anatomical specializations mammals, the combination of molecular and anatomical data for phylogenetic reconstruction, and the reliability of palaeontological data in phylogenetic reconstruction. I am also interested in the philosophy and history of evolutionary biology and the intersection of science and religion.

Project Interests

I would be happy to discuss potential PhD projects of relevance to topics in my research area or to my publication list (www.robertjasher.com/publications).
